Per il progetto ART – Art RethinksTransformation di MeNO, si presenta una selezione di fotografie parte del progetto fotografico ZEN-B, realizzato da un gruppo di ragazze e ragazzi, di un’età compresa tra i dodici e i quattordici anni, durante un laboratorio di advocacy partecipata promosso da Save the Children, in collaborazione con Laboratorio Zen Insieme ed Église. Il laboratorio di advocacy è una delle attività di S.C.AT.T.I., progetto selezionato dall’Impresa sociale Con i Bambini, nell’ambito del Fondo per il contrasto della povertà educativa minorile.
Il progetto ZEN-B ha l’intento di raccontare il quartiere Zen2 attraverso un processo che vede al centro il paesaggio urbano e, quindi, i ritratti di chi lo vive, ricercando geometrie quali elemento significativo delle strutture architettoniche. La B in questo progetto è intesa come alfabetizzazione del numero due che contraddistingue il nome del quartiere e vuole essere anche un “piano B” nella rappresentazione visiva dello Zen, solitamente raccontato sulla base di opinioni rigidamente precostituite e generalizzate. Le fotografie sono caratterizzate da un fortissimo contrasto tra la luce e l’ombra presente allo Zen come in qualsiasi altro quartiere, perché non esiste un luogo in cui vi siano solo ombre o solo luci.
S.C.AT.T.I. (Scuola, Comunità, Attivazione, Territori, Innovazione), progetto selezionato dall’impresa sociale Con i Bambini, nell’ambito del Fondo per il contrasto della povertà educativa minorile che coinvolge 27 partner con capofila la Cooperativa Sociale E.D.I. Onlus, promuove a Milano, Roma, Scalea/Praia e Palermo un modello di presa in carico globale di bambini e ragazzi, basato sulla responsabilizzazione, il rafforzamento e la messa in rete di tutti gli attori della comunità educante attorno alle scuole, centrato sul protagonismo di bambini e ragazzi e realizzato anche grazie al contributo positivo e consapevole delle tecnologie digitali.

For the project ART – Art Rethinks Transformation by MeNO, a selection of photographs is presented as part of the photographic project ZEN-B, created by a group of girls and boys, aged between twelve and fourteen, during a participatory advocacy workshop promoted by Save the Children, in collaboration with Laboratorio Zen Insieme and Église. The advocacy workshop is one of S.C.AT.T.I.’s activities, a project selected byImpresa sociale Con i Bambini(Social Enterprise with Children), in the framework of the Fund for the fight against juvenile educational poverty.
The ZEN-B project aims to tell the story of the Zen2 district through a process that focuses on the urban landscape and, therefore, on the portraits of those who live there, seeking geometries as a significant element of architectural structures. The B in this project is intended as an alphabetization of the number two that typifies the name of the neighbourhood and is also intended to be a “plan B” in the visual representation of Zen, usually narrated on the basis of rigidly pre-established and generalised opinions. The photographs are characterised by a very strong contrast between light and shadow present in Zen as in any other neighbourhood, because there is no place where there are only shadows or only lights.
S.C.AT.T.I. (School, Community, Activation, Territories, Innovation), a project selected by the social enterprise Con i Bambini (With Children), within the framework of the Fund for the fight against juvenile educational poverty involving 27 partners led by the E.D.I. Social Cooperative. The Non-profit organization, promotes in Milan, Rome, Scalea/Praia and Palermo a model of global care of children and teenagers, based on the empowerment, strengthening and networking of all the actors of the educational community around schools, centred on the protagonism of children and teenageres and implemented also thanks to the positive and conscious contribution of digital technologies.
